Adoption Procedure

Our adoption procedures are set up to ensure that we are able to successfully match the pets that have been placed in our trust by their elderly or terminally ill owners with loving and caring homes.  As such, we require that all potential adopting families complete our adoption application and allow the Animal Kingdom Foundation of Compassion, Care, and Concern to perform an assessment.  All applicants are subject to review and evaluation by the Animal Kingdom Foundation of Compassion, Care, and Concern board.

All animals placed by the Animal Kingdom Foundation of Compassion, Care, and Concern receive a medical evaluation before adoption and all vaccinations are up to date.
